22 degrees
The hotels in Vik were all closed (low season, remote location, few tourists) and I was out too late photographing the Northern Lights.
I parked next to a church in a place sheltered from the cold, 50 mph wind. I had the down-filled sleeping bag (rated for 20 degrees) and cold weather gear. When I woke up, the temperature in the car was 22 degrees.
